Volunteer
Join Periamma as a volunteer and get the chance to influence communities and transform lives of the people at our schools and projects in Uganda, Kenya, India, and Thailand.
We love having volunteers as part of our team and have over the years been lucky enough to get assistance for a number of our initiatives from many kind and lovely individuals. Our leadership style is to mentor our volunteers while also giving them liberty and responsibility in order to make them feel inspired and empowered.
As a volunteer, you will be able to put in an agreed upon number of hours each month to help us carry out a project or work internally at Periamma to improve the charity and our exposure.
We are currently looking for volunteers with experience or interest in:
1. Administration
2. Social media
3. Marketing campaigns
4. Website development
5. Fund application
6. Company partnership management

“Being a volunteer at Periamma always gives me the feeling of making a difference for children and young people in need. Whether I write a newsletter, post a story on social media, or interview a partner about one of our projects.
Periamma is a diverse charity consisting of highly skilled people from all over the world, and I have been fortunate to collaborate across countries, to choose what I most enjoy working with and to be given the flexibility to get the work done, when I have time for it.
I have been a banker for many years and allocating some of my spare time to do something completely different has been a big eye-opener and given me a lot of motivation and new perspectives in my life.
