The purpose of Periamma’s personal data policy is to explain where we collect, process and protect personal data. Periamma has a clear ambition to create a high degree of transparency in relation to the information processed and to protect the personal information that you provide to us. Your personal information is treated securely and appropriately, regardless of where the information comes from (whether you provided it electronically, by telephone or in writing). Our goal is that you can feel safe and secure that we protect your personal information. In that context, personal information covers information that can be used to identify you. It includes name information, physical address, email address, bank account information and CPR number.

When you enter into an agreement on membership, to become a sponsor or wish to contribute, and thereby Periamma provides your contact information as well as information for drawing contributions or for establishing a Payment Service Agreement, Periamma is the data controller. Purpose of processing your personal information

Whether you are a member, sponsor, contributor or just a user of our website, we are obliged to process your personal information to such an extent that we can provide you with the services you request and that we can live up to the obligations we have as a charitable membership association. This applies both to the handling of your possible contributions – unless you choose to contribute anonymously – and when we have to manage your membership with us.

Personal information that we process

We collect this information directly from you:
When you are a member, sponsor or contributor with us, we collect the following general personal information from you: Name, address, postcode, city, e-mail address, telephone number, registration and account number. Depending on your relationship with us, we collect information about your CPR number in connection with deductions for your contributions, as we have a reporting obligation.

Sponsorship or membership

When you choose to enter into a fixed contribution agreement or become a sponsor, we will keep the following information: Name and contact information, CPR number (if you have stated this yourself and you want an automatic tax deduction for your contribution), registration and account number and information about your financial contributions.
We record this information in order to handle your contributions or sponsorship, as well as to comply with the law.
When you enter into an agreement on a fixed monthly contribution, we are obliged, in accordance with the Accounting Act, to keep information about you and your contributions for 5 years after the year in which we have received your most recent contribution.
In connection with sponsorships, we pass on individual information to partners in the country where the sponsor child is domiciled. This is about name information as well as your sponsor number. The exchange of data takes place to the local office, which handles the administration around the sponsor child. The purpose is to be able to handle letter exchange, which is part of the agreement around your sponsorship. This letter exchange includes, among other things, that you receive the annual child and family status of your sponsor child.
When entering into a sponsorship or fixed contribution, we also register your consent to sign up for Betalingsservice. In connection with payment via Betalingsservice, we pass on your information to NETS.
In connection with the correction of your information, we send name and contact information to the CPR register. We also pass on information about contribution size and your CPR number to SKAT, so you can get a tax deduction for your fixed contribution. It is section 8 A and section 12 of the Tax Assessment Act, respectively, which obliges us to pass on this information.

One time donation/contributions

When you choose to enter into an agreement on a single contribution, we will keep the following information: Name and contact information, CPR number (if you have provided it yourself and you want an automatic tax deduction for your contribution), and the size of your financial contribution .
We record this information in order to handle your contributions and your sponsorship, as well as to comply with the law. We are obliged, in accordance with the Accounting Act, to keep information about you and your contributions for 5 years after the year in which we have received your most recent contribution.

Newsletter Recipients

If you sign up for Periamma’s newsletter, we will record the following information about you: Name and contact information. The information is stored until you unsubscribe from the newsletter. This is done either by terminating the sponsorship or by contacting us by email: info@periamma.org. The purpose of the newsletter is to inform about Periamma’s work.

Right of access

You have the right to gain insight into what information Periamma registers about you, as well as the right to have incorrect information corrected. You also have the right to have information that is no longer necessary in connection with the processing of your contribution or your sponsorship deleted.

Cookies

What is a cookie? A cookie is a small text file that the website stores in your browser and which is intended to remember past behavior. The cookie used does not identify you as a user, but rather the computer you use.

Cookies mean that you can use the website more efficiently and more easily. We do not process user behavior information collected through cookies in a way that may link user behavior to specific individuals.

How do you avoid cookies? You can set your browser to inform you when you receive a cookie so that you always have the opportunity to decide whether you want to accept it. You can also choose to turn the feature off completely. If you do, however, the website will not work optimally. The cookies do not contain Personal Information such as information about your e-mail address, your user ID or other personal information.
